An enclosed off-leash area in the northwest corner of Golden Gate Park, directly behind the Bison Paddock (6335 Fulton St). If you're driving, turn into the park at 36th Ave from Fulton, pass the lake, then turn right onto the path to the dog area. The ground is sand and artificial turf, and there are separate sections for small and large dogs. Reviewers mention a urine smell at times and say afternoons get busy with dog walkers.
