The off-leash area is a large grassy field just west of the Pine Lake Park parking lot, near Sloat Boulevard and Vale Street. It has no fence, and tall trees around most of the edge act as the only barrier, so your dog needs reliable recall. There's no separate area for small dogs. Dogs must be leashed on the trails around the lake.
